A simple way to use social media to generate downsizing leads

by

Let’s say you’ve got a lead magnet that’s aimed at seniors, free advice on downsizing that they can download by giving you their first name and email address. And you’d like to promote it on social media.

What’s a good way of doing that?

Well, you’re going to want to create a series of posts. After all, a single post is only going to be seen by a small proportion of your followers.

One way of going about it is to simply tell people over and over again that you have a great free resource on downsizing. But you don’t have to be so repetitive.

A more imaginative approach is to use choice snippets from your free resource in your social media post.

Here’s a sample Facebook post that uses a snippet of text from 5 Pro Tips to Downsizing Your Home, a written-for-you lead magnet I developed with a group of realtors.

I’ve used Canva to paste the snippet on to an eye-catching stock image. This is what it looks like:

You can create a series of posts this way, combining different stock images with short snippets of text from whatever freebie you’re offering.
